BitdayCity app for iPhone and iPad

BitdayCity is an app of tourist character that includes places, routes, events, audio guides and general information about your city. We offer a wide selection of tourist attractions in Seville, Panamá City and Barcelona, however this project will add many other cities to its map. BitdayCity is a completely personalised app, since it recommends places, routes and activities depending on your tastes and preferences, previously picked. For example, if the tourist is travelling with his family the app will suggest activities for all ages, but if the tourist is a lover of architecture, it will advise the visit of the architectonical icons of the city, as well as the routes related to this field.

BitdayCity gives you all the information about the last releases, concerts, exhibitions, congresses, fairs, sporting events and other occurrences held in the city. There is always something to do!

YOUR CITY
BitdayCity provides users general information about the city they are visiting, its habits and traditions, advices to get around the city in public transport and a map of its more interesting districts.

HOTEL
BitdayCity stands out from other tourist apps for its service for the hotel sector, since it offers an exclusive section for customers staying at the hotels that contract our service. These clients will receive a free access to the app during their stay in the city.
This section provides users information about the services of their hotel, for example the schedule of the spa, the restaurant menu or the programme of the activities for kids held during the week. The hotel gets in touch with its clients through an instant message service for notifications or promotions. It also shows the hotel’s contact information and the links to social networks.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
